  1. Jennifer says:

Please make your instructions for mailing letters and money orders very clear on your website and to MSDF employees so that there isn’t any miscommunication. Your site list an address with a PO Box number and zip for mailing inmate letters, yet I was told a different PO Box and zip on the phone by an employee. Also, when asking about who money orders should be made out to, the employee on the phone stated that they should be made out to the facility, yet your website states that money orders should be made out to the inmate.

    Which is it ?

I have sent one money order already for $50 to my son. I made it out to the facility and put his name and number in the bottom left corner of the money order. He has not received it and I sent it on January 29th. I have not had it returned to me either. I am now sending one for $20 made out to him this time with the name of the facility in the memo area…..One of them should be correct I guess. But, I should not have to guess. Be clear about:
    1. What name goes in the To: section of the money order ?
    2. What PO Box and zip is the correct one to send money orders to ?
    3. When will he have the funds avialable to him ?

  2. Jennifer says:

This page is suppose to be informational why do they all say posting soon and section coming?
Are inmates allowed outside free time?
