  1. Laurie F. says:

I am very interested in the prices and regulations regarding a commissary account. I wanted to know the prices for items an inmate is allowed to buy. Do inmates have to pay for basics items, like, soap, deodorant, toothpaste etc? My nephew is an inmate, he says he needs money for all these items, I want to know all the prices and if he has to pay for these items on a regular basis? I also wanted to know if an inmate has to pay for his own medications, if he needs medication. Do inmates have to pay for Drs. appointments, as well? I’m just interested in the truth on these issues. Is there a list of prices and options an inmate has that you can send to me so I can know the truth about all these question I have regarding my nephew and his always requesting money . I also wanted to know if there is any schooling options for inmates without charge? if not, how much does it cost for schooling? Thank you, for any information you can give me to help with my questions. I just need to know the true facts. Again, thank you.

    Sincerely, Laurie F.
