  1. Daud N says:

The prison guards in Fishkill aint shit! There are a bunch or weak ass Black men from NYC and racist ass White bwoys from northern new york. Three weeks before I was paroled, this black guard in an attempt to impress one of the most unattractive black women in the entire prison, sought to intimate me verbal and when that didnt work assaulted me under the pretense of a random pat search. Shit was crazy. When I didnt respond to that, I was written a completely false and fraudulent misbehavior report that the racist ass hearing officer ruled me guilty of. Subsequently I was still parole as the parole board was able to recognize this bullshit for what it was. But when the truth be told the staff at Fishkill are a bunch of creeps. Real men housed there know I speak the truth!!!

  2. Winnie says:

they never ever pick up the phone!!!!!!!!

  3. fernando a says:

My brother in law was just transferred to fishkill a few weeks ago without us being notified. We received a letter Saturday afternoon where he stated that he’s being abused by the guards. he’s been beaten, denied food, denied medical attention etc. He’s been locked up over 10 years in various prisons and this is the first time that he has written us because he fears for his life. We called the prison all day Saturday and Sunday morning but no answer .We decided Sunday to hop in the car and take the 2hour drive to visit him. When we arrive we were told he was in the SHU and can only have visitation on Saturdays 5-9.I asked how are we supposed to know if no one picks uo the phone when we call? I was told that there’s no one to pick up the phones on the weekend. Meanwhile there were 6 guards sitting behind the counter including one with her feet up on the counter(very professional).Of all the prisons we’ve visited the guards at your front desk showed the least amount of compassion for family members of inmates. It’s one thing to mistreat inmates who’ve committed crimes(which is still illegal and immoral) but to show lack of compassion for law abiding citizens who’s only crime is having a family member incarcerated only solidifies all the complaints I’ve read about against your facility. You would think being ranked the 2nd worst prison when it comes to complaints and lawsuits someone would be trying to change that reputation.
