  1. Vee says:

I’m a monthly visitor at Harnett Correctional Center. Scheduling a visit is made difficult by guards refusing to answer the phone for request. I have made over 12 calls in one day trying to request a visit only to have the phone receiver picked up so my nest call will be greeted by a busy signal. Remember I only visit once a month. Once you are scheduled and come for the visit you are discouraged from visiting by being made to sit in the weather hot or cold even if you have small children. While waiting, you hear the many complaints about scheduling visitation and realize you are not alone. Dress code rules for visitors I give an A+, and visitation times are prompt, however we are in the twentieth century and the institution needs to be updated especially if you going to downsize employees.
