My brother is in the prison and it is a totally mess up place with gang violence everywhere. In 2011 there was a stabbing were someone was killed from gang related stuff. I found out that my brother was in the hole because of him stucking up for him self and received a broken hand. They put it in a cast and the cast was only on for a couple of days where is fell off itself. I’m a LPN and know that they did no xray or did not even set the hand right. He problemly needs pins. Plus when he gets out they told him that they will kill him. SO that place is for murderers and rapist. My brother is neither of those..he is in there for a very minor crime and only has 1 year left..if he makes it. I’m so upset and pray every night for him and pray that he will get out of there alive!!!

  3. tanika says:

This is the most racist prison I ever came to. My daughter’s dad came from London correctional and they didn’t treat the inmate’s family like they do at Ross. I am not an inmate so I don’t want to be treated like one. The women that check you in for your visit at Ross are some rude nasty man bitter old ladies. They talk to you like trash and think because they are officers you have to take it. I have been going up to Ross since February and I have been having the same issues with the same officer and I reported her over and over again. The first time I reported her because after she check my shoes she threw them like they was nothing. I pay 200 dollars for my shoes and I did not pay for them for someone to throw my stuff. On 11/19/2016 I have a visit to see my child’s father and the same woman was there that I recently reported. The women said that my clothing was not appropriate but what make it so bad I wore the outfit before because they are so picky with what you wear so I wore it again because I knew the outfit was okay before. I had on a sweat suit. She told me to put something else on and I grabbed a sweater I had out my car and just put in on over the hoodie. She said that was not okay I couldn’t go in like that. I had two little kids with me and its cold outside nothing was wrong with my clothes she just wanted to pick with me because I reported her. Before I walked out to change she said “my name was Ms. Marian(Spell Check) for the next time you want to report me” so that let me know she had a personal issue with me. She disrespected me and kept talking to me like I was her child. I am 25 years old I am still young and I respect my elders but she is an old nasty women and she is very rude and disrespectful. So you want respect from me you gone give it I don’t care who you are. She told me that I come in there dressed like a whore. And I went off I called her out her name only because she think because she is an officer she is better than me. I go to work every day and pay my taxes like everybody else and I will not let another soul disrespect me in front of my kids. They banded me from the jail so I can’t visit my child’s father. Regardless of the situation she will not disrespect me and I don’t regret calling her out her name she is a rude bitter old lady that needs to seek personal help. She always have an attitude and I gave her what she was looking for. I reported her again and they told me I was wrong for calling her a fat bitch but didn’t apologize for her actions. They all work together and they are very unprofessional and racist. They did nothing about the way she talked to me in front of my kids. But they did state that I was wrong about what I did. I don’t regret anything and I will keep reporting this issue until she is band right along with me.
