Via U.S. Postal Service: Inmates’ families and friends are able to send prisoners funds by way of the mail and will have to send the moneyh to the following address and do so in accordance with the steps shows below:

The funds have to be in the form of a money order made out to the prisoner’s full committed name and complete eight-digit register number. i have a son in the gurney unit and he has told us that there is no a/c or is the food very edible, could you please commit on this problem, he told me today that for breakfast they had powered eggs, i thought that the system provides proper meals and was told that at lunch today all they had was grilled cheese sandwiches. when i worked for texas department of corrections they always had good food and good air condition in all the areas.

  3. Shelly H. says:

My brother Brian K. is in your Gurney facility. I am writing to you from South Dakota. We are worried sick about him. We are confused about many things and don’t know where to begin. My brother has never been out of South Dakota in life! We are hearing horrible things such as the guards screaming at the inmates to the point of fear. Another person I know did time in Gurney and he told me that my brother WILL be raped! Please help us understand all of this. We are nervous wrecks out here not knowing what is happening to my brother.
